BPS Social and Fundraising Committee
Blackburn Primary School
The BPS SFC is a relaxed and friendly committee of enthusiastic parents who enhance the school by supporting fundraising, social and other school events. It's fun, free and it's rewarding being an active member and supporter of your child's school community.
There is plenty of room for more members and everyone is welcome. If you want to find out more, please contact Shamagne at bps.parentsfriends@gmail.com
Thanks!
Massive Thank You to everyone who contributed to our Election Day BBQ and Cake Stall on the 3rd May 2025. It was a fun day filled with all the awesome community vibes.
Special thanks to our volunteers on the day:
Liz L, Stuart S, Sandy K, Jason R, Jonathan S, Clara E, Karen L, Rachel W, Fiona K, Erin S, Yu B, Drew R, Jally L, Peta P, Mandy T, Danae S, Jingzhi W, Mark H, Grant F, Linda H, Jen F, Susan B, Juhee K, Warwick H, Ash K, Jason Re, Lucy K, Woei C, Shirlee C, Claire N-S, Amy B, Lindsey B, Nilanka I and all of our Social And Fundraising Committee members.
Massive thanks also to the volunteers for the Mother's Day stall last Thursday. You know who you are!
Without your help, it is impossible to run these events! From your baked goodies to the turning of sausages and the constant repeat of “would you like onions?”, we raised over $4200 to go towards upgrading our BPS play grounds.
Again, thank you and we look forward to volunteering with everyone again!
Mango Drive Succession
The annual mango drive is now a staple of the BPS year and it is all organised by the wonderful Vicky Loie! Unfortunately, her time at BPS is ending and we'd love for someone to learn the ropes from Vicky this year with a view to taking over from 2026.

Ongoing Fundraising
The digital Entertainment Book allows you to access discounts at thousands of stores and restaurants in Australia and overseas directly from your phone, no more physical coupons needed! Starting at $70 for a year's membership, 20% of the purchase price of each membership goes directly to our school.
One of the biggest benefits is saving 4% on every shop at Woolworths by buying eGift cards (a $500 Woolworths gift card costs $480) which you can buy and use yourself, and which can be used online and in-store (just by scanning it from your phone at the checkout). The eGift cards have no expiry date and you can buy as many as you want.
