Baimbridge Swimming Carnival
Well done to Bradman for winning the House Swimming Carnival!!
It was a day filled with sun, cheering, dress ups, novelty events and most importantly, very competitive swimming.
Most students were able to get into the pool at some occasion to cool down and earn a point for their House.
There was a great team effort from the staff, getting to the pool early to set up for the big day. The Students paraded in their houses through the residential streets of Hamilton on the short walk to the pool. This is definitely a sight to see with banners, colourful dress and chanting!
There were some great examples of fierce competition, with Archie Dahl and Brennan MacDonald pushing each other to some great performances throughout the day. Our senior students should also be commended with most getting in and completing in numerous events.
We had some records broken:
14 year boys 50m Breast stroke; Archie Dahl broke Todd Dymke’s 2018 record with a time of 40:00 Seconds.
