Leonis 

It gives me great pleasure to introduce the 2025 Leonis House Captains to our St John's Regional College Community.

Hi! My name is Sean Pascual, and I'm your Leonis House Captain for 2025 🦁🔥! 

A bit about myself: My favourite subject at school is Vis Com - I love designing and letting my creativity out! I love any kind of sport and exercise, mainly basketball and volleyball ⛹️‍♂️! And I love listening to all types of music. 

What am I most looking forward to as a House Captain? Definitely the House Competitions, and of course - WINNING 🦁🔥!!! I hope to achieve a Championship Cup for our house alongside our other amazing Leonis House Captain, Q! (the G.O.A.T). 

We can achieve it by creating a more connected Leonis House that can take on any challenge. Using the power of friendship😁!             

Hello everyone, my name is Quratullane Ali, and it's an honour to be your Leonis 2024 house captain! 

My favourite subject in school is English and Biology. English is such a crucial subject, and I enjoy the creative aspect of writing. Biology has super fascinating content. One of my main hobbies outside of school is poetry and teaching. Poetry is a platform I use to express my emotions and learn about others. Additionally, I attend a Religious Community Centre twice a week and voluntarily teach children about our faith, Islam. This opportunity gave me a perspective that I never had before, which is the significance of being a teacher in the community. Teachers inspire, create a safe space, help us grow into young individuals and nourish our minds with knowledge.  Having first-hand experience of being in the teacher's shoes made my respect for teachers grow even more! 

What I am looking forward to as your Leonis House Captain is bringing back the fun and safe feeling in the school community. I want to achieve this by helping whenever someone needs support and ensuring that school events are engaging.
