School Advisory Council

SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL:

Our School Advisory Council met on Tuesday 27th May  and discussed the following topics:

• We reviewed the School Advisory Council document: Working Together in Mission
• An update on the Master Plan was given
• Frances presented the focus of the school closure day on Friday 23rd May with Dr Nathaniel Swain on the Science of Teaching.
• Uniform Policy document sent home to all families was discussed
• 2026 enrolment numbers were discussed
• Frances presented the Annual Action Plan goals and actions
• Frances and Andrew addressed Child Safety Standard, 5 and presented the work that is happening in this area:
  • St Mark’s has been successful in gaining funds to run the National Schools Wellbeing Program, which will allow us to employ a School Wellbeing officer for approximately a day per week from Term 3 to support students in a number of different ways and in different areas of need.
