BULLYING NO WAY 

Bullying No Way Week (17–21 August 2026) is Australia’s leading initiative for bullying prevention in schools. It’s an opportunity for schools to foster a shared understanding of bullying behaviours and highlight strategies for their prevention. 

At Greenhills Primary School, we take bullying seriously and are committed to creating a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for every student. Our approach includes responding promptly and appropriately when bullying is reported, while also focusing on prevention through explicit teaching, positive relationships and opportunities for students to build empathy, resilience and help-seeking skills. By working together as a school community, we can ensure every student feels safe, supported and valued.

Below, you will find the GHPS Bullying Reporting Procedure. Our Junior School Council (JSC) has played an important role in reviewing these procedures and providing valuable student feedback to help us strengthen and improve them.

The JSC is also developing a ‘GHPS Unwanted Behaviour Steps’ to provide students with clear words, phrases and actions they can use if they experience or witness behaviour of concern. If your child has suggestions about what could be included, please encourage them to speak with their grade’s JSC representative.

Together, we can empower our students to speak up, seek help and help make Greenhills a safe and inclusive school for everyone.
