Good afternoon families and carers,

A big thank you to all the families who joined Linda and I on the Post School Provider Tours for our Senior Secondary students.

The tours were a great success, providing families with valuable information about the different pathways, programs and opportunities available to their young persons as they prepare to graduate. Visiting these services in person and having the opportunity to ask questions helped families gain clearer understanding of what each services can offer and how they can best support their young persons in their transition post school.

It's important that families explore options and gather information early, as the NDIS process can be longer than anticipated. The young person wanting to attend these services will need relevant NDIS fundings, which tends to be a very lengthy process. 

We look forward to continuing these tours next year, where we hope to visit some new and different services and explore the range of opportunities available for your young person. 

We also look forward to hosting a Career Expo in March 2027. This will be another great opportunity for families to meet with a range of organisations, gather information and explore possibilities for post school. We hope to see many families there.
