Principal's Report

Tim Furphy, Principal

What a beautiful morning it was for our "walk to school" from the park up the road. Many came to breakfast club, walked to the park, had a play then walked back down with the crowd. Thanks everyone for getting involved.

The past couple of weeks has seen our Mothers Day afternoon tea, soccer for the senior students, dental visit and much more. It's also seen the weather turn - Winter, here we come!

Classrooms and our playground are buzzing with friendships, fun and plenty of learning. From stories of silly robot teachers to those of robots taking over our school (and replacing teachers), we've had it all. Art continues to be a hit with some new media being applied and PE has seen some keen lawn bowlers hit their straps.

Things get really busy from here on with Kitchen Garden over the next few weeks, school photo day next Wendnesday, teachers in Bendigo for some PD on Writing on June the 3rd then a curriculum Day the week after that (June 9th). This is followed by a working bee on Saturday 13th June at school then our information arfternoon on 17th June to share all things NPS.
