JustGo Transitions to Adyen Payment Platform

Important update for all clubs and zones: New payment system launches 15 November

JustGo has announced it will be changing its payment partner from Stripe to Adyen, a globally recognised payment platform trusted by industry leaders including Uber, Spotify, eBay, and Microsoft.

Enhanced Payment Features

The transition to Adyen will bring expanded payment functionality to JustGo members, including:

  • Google Pay
  • Apple Pay
  • Open Banking

Additional features are expected to be rolled out over time. Transaction fees will remain unchanged at 1.9% of the total cost plus $0.30 per organisation.

Transition Timeline

The switch to Adyen takes effect on 15 November 2025. From this date, all payments processed through JustGo will be handled exclusively via Adyen.

Critical: After 15 November, all Stripe and Stripe Express accounts will be disconnected from JustGo profiles. Any club or zone that has not completed the transition will be unable to collect membership, event, or shop payments through JustGo.

Setup and Support

JustGo has confirmed the setup process is straightforward and should take less than 15 minutes to complete. To support the transition, they have prepared a comprehensive Migration Kit containing:

  • A detailed user guide
  • A step-by-step video tutorial
  • A frequently asked questions (FAQ) section

JustGo's email support team will be available to assist with account setup and verification. PCA will also prepare an additional user guide based on feedback from other Australian sports organisations, including the document list required by Adyen for account verification.

Clubs can choose to complete the setup independently or request an individual call with JustGo. While setup typically takes less than 15 minutes, 30-minute sessions will be scheduled to allow time for questions.

Communications

PCA will distribute information to administrators on Friday, including details about Adyen and its features, the migration kit, and support contact details. Given the short timeframe, states are encouraged to share this information with their administrators through multiple channels to ensure everyone is informed.

This information will also be included in the Membership Renewal User Guide, which will be circulated to administrators ahead of the blackout period and the setup of the new membership season.

Post-Deadline Process

Reports will be run to identify any organisations that haven't transitioned, and state bodies will work to ensure completion of the switch. Additionally, checks will be conducted to ensure all funds held in Stripe accounts are fully paid out before JustGo's contract with Stripe ends, with particular attention to clubs with restricted Stripe accounts.
