Principal's Message

Dear Families and Friends,

This Friday we were delighted to celebrate Grandparents Day in the Library. We invited all grandparents and special people in our children's lives to join us for this special celebration.

As a Catholic community, we connect this day with the lives of St Joachim and St Anne, the grandparents of Jesus through Mary, whose names have been passed down through Church Tradition. They represent the quiet generations who faithfully lived their vocation, loving their families, practising their faith, and serving others with humility, often without recognition.

Many of us are blessed with grandparents and special people who continue this legacy today. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, offering unconditional love, wisdom and support, helping to keep families connected and strong. We were honoured to  celebrate these remarkable people as a community.

Thank you to Clare, Barb and our children for baking the delicious scones during Engaging With Place (EWP) cooking on Thursday. 

A sincere thank you to all the families who attended our Parent-Teacher Interviews this week. We greatly value the partnership between home and school, and these conversations are an important opportunity to celebrate each child's growth, discuss their learning journey and work together to support their continued success. Thank you for your ongoing support, trust and commitment to your child's education.

Next Friday, we are excited to celebrate 100 Days of Prep with our F/1 group. It is a wonderful milestone that recognises just how much our Prep students have grown in confidence, independence and learning during their first 100 days of school. We look forward to celebrating this special achievement together.

2027 

Prep tours for 2027 have been going well - however your help in sharing our dates and sharing how wonderful our school is will definitely support us the most. Our NEXT tour is Tuesday 28th July at 9am! Share the word.

Curriculum Newsletters 

Curriculum newsletters were distributed via email on Wednesday. These newsletters provide families with a snapshot of the learning and teaching taking place in each year level. While they highlight some of the exciting experiences and key learning areas, they are by no means a reflection of the full curriculum. Every day, our classrooms are filled with rich learning opportunities across all curriculum areas, designed to engage, challenge and support every child as they grow.
