Update: New Digital Learning Policy

This term, we're updating our digital learning policy in line with new Department of Education guidelines to reduce screen time, and ensure device use is purposeful and learning focused.

The updated policy and Acceptable Use Agreement (AUA) will set clear expectations for using digital devices safely, intentionally and responsibly.

Our leadership team is partnering with the education subcommittee to implement these initiatives. We will share the full policy and AUA once finalised.

Science Week

Science incursions are taking place over the next fortnight to celebrate Science Week. The junior school are exploring amphibian life with Merri Creek Management, while the senior school takes part in rocket-building workshops delivered by the Victorian Space Science Education Centre.

Supervision

There are no teachers on duty before 8:50am or after 3:45pm.

Safety

Thanks to all students who are walking their bikes and scooters through the front gates, it's helping to keep everyone safe.

Principal Day: Thank You!

On Principal's Day (Friday 9th August), Anya and I were thrilled to arrive at school to find our offices dripping in colour. We were blown away by all the effort that went into crafting and creating so many beautiful cards and posters. We even received a giant-sized panda signed by every student at BSW!
