Learn what opportunities our students have been taking on

Year 7 PE

This week, Year 7 students completed the Sport Education in Physical Education Program (SEPEP). SEPEP is a student-centered approach to teaching PE where students take on various roles and responsibilities to plan, organise, and participate in a sports competition. Year 7s completed the unit playing volleyball and took on roles such as referee, media reporter, scorer, and coach.

The grand final was held yesterday and students received awards for fairest referee, most improved, best performance, best media report, and best teamwork. Well done to all students for their leadership and positive participation in the program!

What's on at School!

In Year 7 Humanities, students concluded their study of Ancient Egypt by crafting a historical artefact which could be displayed in a museum. The class created an array of items from razors, drinking vessels, ancient texts and symbols to canopic jars and sarcophaguses used during the mummification process. Here's just a small sample of the amazing artefacts our Year 7s have created!

What a show! It has been wonderful to see so many past St Brigid's College students involved in the production, as well as Year 8 student, Harper K and our School Development Officer, Miss Ryan!  Congratulations everyone!
