12th Sunday in Ordinary Time
This Sunday our Church celebrates the 12th Sunday of Ordinary Time. The readings for this day are a call to trust in God. Although our circumstances can be uncertain and challenging at times, God is always caring for us. In the Gospel, Jesus encourages His disciples to proclaim His teachings through their actions to support people within communities. We are called to be disciples today by showing love for others through our words and actions- at home, school and the wider community.
Gospel Reading: Mt 10:26-33
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew
Jesus instructed the Twelve as follows: ‘Do not be afraid. For everything that is now covered will be uncovered, and everything now hidden will be made clear. What I say to you in the dark, tell in the daylight; what you hear in whispers, proclaim from the house-tops.
‘Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; fear him rather who can destroy both body and soul in hell. Can you not buy two sparrows for a penny? And yet not one falls to the ground without your Father knowing. Why, every hair on your head has been counted. So there is no need to be afraid; you are worth more than hundreds of sparrows.
‘So if anyone declares himself for me in the presence of men, I will declare myself for him in the presence of my Father in heaven. But the one who disowns me in the presence of men, I will disown in the presence of my Father in heaven.’

Reflections by Saints Club Students
At the kindergarten we played with the younger kids. We had so much fun with the little ones! We played with sand & trucks and we also played memory & bingo.

My group (Aarya, Aria, Layla and me) went to the kinder last week on Thursday. There were 2 different classes, so we split into 2 groups. Aarya and I were playing outside first, while Aria and Layla were playing inside with the kindergarteners. Outside, Aarya and I were playing tag with the little kids. After a few minutes, we switched areas. Inside, Aarya, Ms. Mash and I were having a little tea party with the little kids. They were very demanding and bossy. Then, Aarya and I were playing with play-dough with some other kinder kids. We had a great time and we can’t wait to go back.
