AFLW Girls AFL 9s Football Division

On Thursday 23 July, 12 Grade 5 and 6 girls will represent St John's in the Banyule Division AFL 9s Football competition against Heidelberg Primary School.

We wish the girls all the very best as they take on this exciting opportunity. We know they will represent our school with pride, demonstrating perseverance, collaboration, and great sportsmanship throughout the day.

Boys Soccer Division

On Wednesday 29 July, 12 Grade 5 and 6 boys will represent St John's in the Banyule Division Soccer competition at the Darebin Sports Complex.

We wish the boys all the very best as they compete in this exciting opportunity. We know like the girls' football, will represent our school with pride, demonstrating perseverance, collaboration, and great sportsmanship throughout the day.

Term 3 Physical Education

Our Prep to Grade 6 classes have recommenced their Physical Education lessons this term and have enjoyed the introduction to the sport of Volleyball.

OLMC Teaching and Coaching Program

Starting next week, students in 5L, 2MJ and 2C will have the exciting opportunity to participate in a three-week Physical Education program at OLMC. The sessions will be planned and delivered by Year 12 OLMC students who are studying Teaching and Coaching.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to engage in fun, active lessons while supporting the learning and practical experience of the Year 12 students.
