Some of the students at Our Lady's entered our writing competition. We want to share the winners of the competition. All of the students have put in a great deal of effort into their writing pieces.

Here are 4 of our winners; the other 2 were absent.

Junior winners were:

1st: Jenisa 3B

2nd: Hannah 3D

3rd: Zara 1A

Senior winners were:

1st: Romeo 5C

2nd: Niamh 6A

3rd: Ojaswi 4B

Why we picked these students and what the writing piece was about:

Jenisa 3B: Jenisa wrote a story about friendship and how she had a strong bond with the people in the story.

Hannah 3D: Hannah wrote a story about an animal finding friends, and it was a really heartwarming story and showed the reality of what life is about and what it's like.

Zara 1A: Zara wrote a story about her bad day and how she overcame it.

Romeo 5C: Romeo wrote a story about a mysterious suitcase that brought health to a man who needed it. The story used many descriptive words and caught our attention, and stood out from the others.

Niamh 6A: Niamh wrote a poem about our school and how it is like no other, and how very special it is.

Ojaswi 4B: Ojaswi wrote a poem and a song that talked about what they liked and about good vibes and bad memories.

These students will receive a certificate and a prize from our LEGO and toy range.

Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry. We really appreciate all of your hard work that you put in. We chose these people as the winners because we thought they wrote so well and really displayed the qualities of a good writer! All of these writing pieces really stood out. Congratulations to all of the Winners. Thank you to everyone who entered; you all submitted amazing writing pieces. We appreciate all of your hard work, and we loved reading all of your intriguing writing pieces.  We will return your pieces to you. Make sure to keep writing!
