Remembrance Day
Well done to our wonderful Year 4 students and Leon, Rocco, Naya and Alice (Year 3), who led our Remembrance Day service last Tuesday. They read some poems, led us in prayer, and explained why we have Remembrance Day and the importance of pausing for a minute's silence.
We will remember them
Lest We Forget
Red November
During the month of November, a global movement by the Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) invites everyone around Australia to remember and pray in a particular way for Christians who suffer persecution for their faith. The movement involves lighting buildings red to symbolise the blood of martyrs and encouraging people to remember, pray for, and support those who suffer for their faith. November 19th, in particular, is known as Red Wednesday, when many cathedrals and churches will be lit in red.
