Bully Zero Incursion
Our Bully Zero incursion was a great success, with students across the school taking part in engaging and age-appropriate sessions focused on building their understanding of bullying and how they can help create a safe and supportive school community.
Throughout the sessions, students learnt practical strategies including how to identify what bullying is, the difference between an accident, mean behaviour and bullying, and what they can do if they see someone being treated unfairly. A strong focus was placed on the importance of being an upstander by speaking up, seeking help and supporting others rather than standing by. Students also explored the importance of telling a trusted adult, the impact bullying can have on others, and practical ways they can respond safely and respectfully when problems occur.
A reminder that our Bully Zero Parent Information Session will be held online next Wednesday, 28 October at 6:00pm. A link to join the session will be sent out shortly.
If you are unable to attend the live session, a recording will be available for seven days afterwards so families can watch it at a convenient time.
Parents and carers are invited to join the It Takes a Village online webinar on Wednesday 28 October at 6:00pm, offering valuable insights and strategies to support children and families.
