Girton's Community Action Group

Seeking donations of wool

The Girton Community Action Group (GCAG) needs your help. We are looking for donations of wool, so please search your houses and ask your family and friends.

From week 5 onwards, GCAG's new Building Connection sessions will run during Co-Connect. Our students will be knitting and crocheting blankets to be donated to those who need them most in our community. Any wool you can spare for this good cause would be much appreciated.

Donations can be dropped off at Morey Reception during Term Three and Term Four of this year. But don’t wait - if you have some wool at home, please bring it in as soon as you can!

The GCAG team is so excited to share this initiative with the Girton community. So, if you can, donate, because you will be part of a cause that changes lives.

Special Guest Speaker – Tuesday 13 August

We’re thrilled to welcome Tully Mahr, an Indigenous engineer currently interning with NASA, who will speak to our senior students during CoConnect. Tully’s visit is a fantastic opportunity to learn from a powerful voice in STEM and Indigenous excellence.
