Thank you to all the parents and students who joined last Tuesday afternoon 25th November 2025 for our Christmas Wreath Making Workshop. We learnt about the wreath and its connection to our Catholic faith before putting our creative talents to work. There were many unique creations and all the wreaths were so different. Hope everyone enjoyed the experience and that your wreaths are now proudly hanging on your front doors as a sign of welcome or displayed on your kitchen tables to signify celebration in the upcoming Christmas Season.

10th December 2025
Each year parents and grandparents in our community give of their time to assist in various capacities at our school and we would like to say ‘Thank You’. We will host a Volunteer Thank You Morning Tea on Wednesday 10th December 2025 at 9am, if you would like to join us, kindly scan the QR code to register to ensure we accommodate for catering, by this Friday 5th December 2025. Thank you.

Sunday 7th December 2025
It’s finally here!! This Sunday will be the most spectacular Christmas Carols you will ever attend held in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church starting at 5pm. Based on last year's experience the Church was full so to avoid standing for the performance, I recommend you arrive early to secure a seat. Our StMM School Choir will be participating in the Carols collaborating with the OLSH School Choir. It is set to be a special afternoon. Don’t miss out.
A reminder to all families who have volunteered to complete a Christmas card for a resident at Little Sisters of the Poor, to please return them to the school front office as soon as possible, as we will be visiting the residents next week to sing carols.
Last week our Pope Francis students attended Wednesday Mass at Little Sisters of the Poor. Mass was celebrated by Fr Pat and the students were very reverent receiving a special blessing as they embark on their high school journey in 2026.

Wednesday 17th December 2025
One again this year, the Parish is organising a FREE bus to Opening Night at Christmas at the Cathedral. The bus will leave from outside OLSH Parish and return after the light display. Those who attended last year will agree it was spectacular. If you are interested in travelling on the bus, please register via the QR code on the flyer.
Over the next week, each student will receive a Family Christmas Initiative. It will differ per year level and it will be a fun way to learn about 'The Birth of Jesus' for the younger students and 'The Magi' for the older students. Make sure you check your child's bag for this activity. I encourage you to complete it together as a family as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.
Almighty God,
Grant us the grace to Hope in you with unwavering trust.
As we begin this season of Advent, may our hearts be filled with the hope that comes
from knowing your promises are true.
Amen
Go gently, every blessing.
