Sporting News

Over the past six weeks, our Year 5 and 6 students have proudly represented our school in a series of interschool and community sport events each Friday. Students nominated to participate in netball, AFL, lawn bowls, golf or tennis. It has been wonderful to see them embrace each activity with enthusiasm and confidence.

We congratulate all of our students for their outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork and commitment to always trying their best. Their positive attitude and willingness to support one another have been a highlight of the program. A huge thank you to Charlotte Drake for coordinating these events and to the many staff members who accompanied and encouraged our students each week. Your support makes these opportunities possible and meaningful. 

Congratulations to our girls AFL team who proudly represented Galilee at the Lightning Premierships. The team showed incredible determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the day, successfully progressing through to the semi‑finals.

Coming up, we have 6 students who made it through to the Dendy Cross Country. Good luck! We have the Soccer Lightning Premiership for Year 5 and 6 students next week. We wish them the very best of luck!
