World Environment Day

Whole School Art Project in recognition of World Environment Day Friday 5th June 

World Environment Day is a special day that reminds us to take care of our planet. It is a day when people all around the world do things to protect nature, keep the Earth clean, and learn how to look after animals, plants, air, and water.

This year’s global theme encourages us to reflect on our environment, celebrate our natural world, and explore ways we can care for our planet. To mark this important day, every class from Early Education, Primary and Secondary was invited to create a unique artwork inspired by looking after our environment and/or recycling. 

A Giant Whole School Mural 

All individual artworks have been combined to form a giant whole‑school mural, symbolising our unity, creativity, and collective commitment to the environment. This mural is a reminder of our students’ voices and vision for a greener future.
