Food Studies News

Unit 1 Food Studies students are studying why Australia is so multicultural and this week they made a Sushi Bowl. Some of the students had never tasted tofu and they were excited about having a taste. The results were spectacular and moorish.

It has been a fun frenzy of baking for our students over the past couple of weeks!!  Across many year levels, students have been refining the art of baking products that are appealing to the eye and of course, the taste buds!!  Year 8s - Apfelkuchen (apple cakes), Year 9s - Bakewell Tarts, Year 10s - Fruit Scrolls and Year 12s Monkey Bread.
