State Cross Country

Once again, the weather gods smiled upon us for State Cross Country on Thursday, 24th July at Yarra Glen Racecourse. While the track was less muddy than last year, competitors still had to contend with a challenging headwind and some testing inclines!

We were proud to have 12 dedicated students represent our school, all putting in strong efforts and finishing with pride:

12/13 Girls – Olivia M, Madison V, Emily C, Lexi G

14 Girls – Eve H, Beau G

15 Girls – Rachel D

16 Girls – Maya G

17–20 Girls – Maeve S, Sienna M

16 Boys – Aaron B

17–20 Boys – Diesel B

A huge congratulations to Maya G, who placed 14th in the State – an outstanding achievement!

A special shout-out also goes to Aaron B and Diesel B, who took on the tough 5km event. Aaron crossed the line in an impressive 19:22, while Diesel broke the 19-minute barrier with a time of 18:41 – an incredible effort!

Well done to all our runners – your determination and school spirit were on full display!

Year 8 Soccer 

Congratulations to our Year 8 Boys Soccer Team, who were runners-up at the Regional Championships on Wednesday, 30th July.

The team played with great spirit and determination, winning two out of their three games and showing great teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship throughout the day.

A fantastic effort from all involved — well done, boys!

Congratulations, Claudia!

A huge congratulations to Claudia (10C), who recently competed at the School Sports Australia competition in Brisbane, representing TeamVic in swimming.

Claudia achieved some outstanding results:
