Sacrament of Confirmation Preparations
Our Stage 3 children, together with other children from our parish, continue their preparations to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. This special sacrament completes their Baptism and strengthens them with the gifts of the Holy Spirit, empowering them to live as faithful followers of Christ.
We wish the children all the best as they journey through this important step in their faith, and we thank parents and guardians for their unwavering support, guidance, and commitment during this sacred time. May it be a deeply enriching experience for all!
Mass for the Feast of the Assumption - Friday 15th August
Next Friday, we will gather as a whole school community to celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, one of the most important holy days in the Catholic Church. This celebration reminds us of our Catholic faith and devotion to Mary, the mother of Jesus.
The Feast of the Assumption commemorates the belief that Mary, at the end of her earthly life, was taken body and soul into heaven. This event highlights Mary’s unique role in salvation history and her being free from sin. It also points us toward the hope and promise of eternal life with God for all who remain faithful.
This feast is a beautiful opportunity to reflect on Mary as a model of faith, humility, and obedience to God’s will. Her life inspires us to trust in God, to serve others with love, and to live in hope of the promises of Christ.
We are blessed to have Bishop Mark join us to celebrate this special Mass alongside Fr Paddy, our parish priest. Let us extend a warm welcome to Bishop Mark and thank him for being with us for this significant occasion. All are welcome to attend the mass in the Church at 9:30am.

Prayer for Our School Community and Confirmation Candidate
We ask the school community to pray for the children preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of our school community and the values that guide us—Respect, Compassion, and Commitment.
Today, we pray especially for the children preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Fill them with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and help them to grow in faith, courage, and love. May they live out our school values, showing respect for others, compassion in their actions, and commitment to following You.
Bless their families, the teachers and the staff who support them on this journey. May our whole school community be a place where Your light shines through our words and deeds.
We ask this in Jesus' name, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
