Dear Families,
New Roles for 2026
We have begun planning for 2026 and I am excited to announce two new leadership roles being advertised for the College. Firstly, as an outworking of our Ministry Plan that was shared at the end of Term 2, the College is seeking to employ a Learning Leader of Biblical Studies. This role will review the current ‘Christian Life Studies’ programs evolving them into a new Biblical Studies course. The new Biblical Studies course will focus on engaging students in the Bible, helping them to read the Bible independently as part of our deep hope to help students to flourish in God’s word. Secondly, we are advertising a Learning Leader Creative and Performing Arts role with the desire to grow our programs for equipping students in these subjects.
New Student Leadership Team
This week I had the joy of meeting with our new Secondary Student Leadership Team as part of their induction training program. Students considered what does it mean to have distinctly Christian leadership, the importance of vision, mission values, teamwork, and helped design new roles for the team. We will shortly elect our new College Captains and Vice-Captains, and I look forward to announcing these and the other new roles shortly!
Uniform Review Update
We have been provided a range of shirt samples for you to review as we consider possible changes to the College uniform white shirt. These samples are on display in the TLA foyer area and we are inviting students, staff and parents to have a look and give us feedback! The sample shirts are only there for a couple weeks so please take the time to pop in and complete a feedback form.
Term dates 2026
We’re pleased to share the official term dates for the 2026 school year. Please mark your calendars now and plan ahead!
Book Week and Grandparents Day
We had an amazing week for Book Week and what a wonderful way to wrap it up with our grandparents visiting with us for the Book Week Parade! Grandparents day was a lovely opportunity to celebrate the love of family and their roles in the lives of our students as stewards of wisdom, family stories, and faith. Thank you for all the families who were able to participate in these events, whether it was reading a book to a Primary School class, helping dress up your child for the parade, or juggling the logistics to involve grandparents – you all helped make it a wonderful experience for the students.
Staffing Updates
We are excited to share this new appointment into College staff.
- Risk and Compliance Manager – Mrs Leisha Wray
Leisha joins us with extensive qualifications, a wealth of knowledge and experience working across the disability, not for profit and manufacturing sectors. We are looking forward to the depth of knowledge and the strengthening of processes in this area that Leisha will bring to this new role.
2026 Enrolments and Notice of Withdrawal
As we begin finalising enrolments for 2026, we are currently managing waiting lists across several year levels. If you are aware that your child may not be continuing at the College next year, we kindly ask that you notify our Enrolments Team as soon as possible. Early notice greatly assists us in planning and offering places to families on our waiting list. If you are aware of any families wanting to enrol their children for next year, please encourage them to contact us as soon as possible as several grades are already full for next year.
A reminder that, as per our enrolment agreement, families are required to provide at least one term’s notice of withdrawal or pay tuition fees in lieu.
Second-Hand Uniform
The Generocity Op Shop kindly manages our second-hand uniform and is located at 194 Lake Albert Rd, Kooringal. The Op Shop is open Fridays 10:00 am – 3:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. They are happy to accept donations of clean, second-hand uniforms and will ensure that affordable sustainable options exist for College uniforms. If you are unable to take donations to Generocity Op Shop directly, the College office will accept donations on your behalf.
