2C – Growing as Learners
Our Year 2C students have had a fantastic Term 2, filled with learning, curiosity and achievement. We are incredibly proud of the effort, resilience and enthusiasm they have shown across all learning areas.
In Mathematics, students have been building their confidence using a range of mental computation strategies, including partitioning, the number line strategy, and bridging to the nearest 10. They have enjoyed explaining their thinking, solving problems and challenging themselves to use efficient strategies.
In English, students have been developing their informative writing skills by researching animals, organising facts and creating engaging information texts. They have also worked hard to improve their handwriting, presentation and editing skills, taking pride in producing neat, high-quality work.
Throughout the term, our class has continued to grow as respectful, responsible and resilient learners. Students have shown kindness towards one another, worked collaboratively during learning activities and embraced new challenges with positive attitudes.
We are so proud of everything Year 2C has accomplished so far and we look forward to another exciting term of learning together!
