Storytelling Challenge 

Turn your family’s imagination into a wonderful story! 

Choose it 

Select three random objects from around your home, for example, a spoon, a hat and a toy animal. 

Create it 

Work together to make up a story that includes all three objects. Think about: 

• Who are the characters?  
• Where does the story take place?  
• What problem occurs?  
• How is the problem solved?  

Share it 

Tell your story aloud, write it down or draw pictures to show what happened. 

Extra challenge 

Add a surprising ending or choose three new objects and create another adventure! We would love students to share their imaginative stories with their class.
