Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents,

Semester One Reports

As we move towards the end of Semester One, our teachers have been deeply immersed in the important and thoughtful work of preparing student reports. Over recent weeks, they have been carefully gathering learning data, observing each child in the classroom, reviewing goals, and reflecting on individual progress.

At Holy Family, this process is much more than completing reports — it is about truly knowing our students. Guided by our motto of Strength and Gentleness, our teachers approach this work with both professional rigour and a genuine care for each child. They take time to recognise every student’s strengths, nurture their growth, and thoughtfully consider the next steps in their learning journey.

Semester One reports will be available via Compass next Friday afternoon. These reports provide a meaningful snapshot of your child’s learning so far, highlighting both their achievements and areas for continued growth.

This will be followed by an opportunity to connect more personally during our Parent-Teacher Conferences in Week 10, where teachers will discuss your child’s progress in greater detail and answer any questions you may have. We encourage you to take time to read the report with your child, celebrating their efforts and growth along the way.

We are very excited to share the new Catholic Schools Broken Bay (CSBB) Partnership Principles: A Commitment by both Families and Schools

CSBB recognises that a strong, respectful partnership between families and schools is essential to the wellbeing, growth and success of every student. The CSBB Partnership Principles are an enhanced version of the Parent Charter, reflecting our shared commitment to working together with trust, openness and mutual respect.

These principles outline the responsibilities we hold together, families and schools, to foster positive partnerships, support learning, and create safe, inclusive communities where every child can flourish.
