Sports and PE

What a fantastic start to the term it has been for our sports program!
Following Round 1 of interschool sports, we have already achieved some great results.
A big standout has been our Grade 1 and 2 students, who consistently put their hands up to participate in senior sports. Their enthusiasm, confidence and willingness to challenge themselves have been fantastic to see.
Our senior students have also demonstrated outstanding leadership and independence throughout the program. It has been particularly rewarding for our coaches to take a step back and watch our students take responsibility, support one another and develop into young leaders.
We are now looking forward to our next round of interschool sports on Friday, 30 October!
During PE lessons, students have been focusing on a range of summer sports, including cricket, bat tennis, rounders and frisbee games. In Week 3, we were fortunate enough to welcome a coach from Cricket Victoria, who provided students with the opportunity to develop their cricket skills and deepen their understanding of the game. It has been fantastic to see students already applying these new skills during their PE lessons and games.
Overall, it has been a wonderful start to the term! It is great to see so many students getting involved, trying different sports, demonstrating teamwork and achieving success both on and off the field.
