 Bunji Has Returned! 

Bunji has returned to school, and we're so excited to welcome him back to DDS!

To help make his transition back as smooth as possible, here are a few friendly reminders to help Bunji feel calm, comfortable, and settled:

🐾 Always greet his person (the adult with him) first, not Bunji – This helps him feel secure.

🐾 Give him space when walking past – He feels more relaxed when he has room.

🐾 Avoid standing and staring at him – It can feel a little intimidating.

🐾 Wait for Bunji to approach you – This helps him feel safe and happy.

We're thrilled to have Bunji back and know he'll be bringing plenty of smiles to our school community!

WINNERS OF BUNJI'S BIRTHDAY T-SHIRT COMPLETITION

What a paw-some week we had celebrating Bunji’s 5th birthday at the end of Term 3!

Students joined in the fun with a range of creative birthday activities, including a Bunji Puzzle, balloon decorating, birthday cookie art, and writing special birthday messages for our favourite furry friend. There were smiles, creativity, and plenty of birthday cheer everywhere you looked!

One of the biggest highlights was the Bunji Birthday T-Shirt Design Competition. Students put their artistic talents to work, creating colourful and imaginative birthday T-shirts that Bunji would be proud to wear. From bright colours to clever designs, every entry was bursting with creativity and personality.

After some tough deliberation, our judges selected the winning designs.
