District Summer Sports
Year 5 and 6 students from St Simon’s Primary School had a fantastic time competing in our Summer Sports Round Robin over two exciting days.
Our Tennis Boys A Team achieved an impressive second-place finish at District level, earning themselves a well-deserved spot in the upcoming Division competition.
Our Volleyball and Cricket Teams also represented St Simon’s with pride, finishing among the top six at District level.
The Softball Girls and Boys Teams had an outstanding tournament, both claiming first place in their respective competitions. Their exceptional performances have secured their place at the Division competition.
Our students showed enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and wish all our teams the very best as they take on the next stage of competition!
A big congratulations to all of our students for representing St Simon's proudly and huge thanks to the staff and parents who attended on the day to support our students.
St Simon Interschool Sport Key Dates 2026
Please note the following date for our SSV Wantirna District and Knox Division for the 2026 calendar year.
These dates are subject to change according to the discretion of the District and Division Coordinator. We wish to provide parents of our school the opportunity to acknowledge when upcoming sporting events are occurring.
We particularly call out to all future Year 5 and 6 parents to note the dates and to be potentially available to support our Interschool Sport teams as parent involvement not only supports our students in many ways as coaches and umpires but helps our staff with assistance with supervision. We thank all parents for their great help in making Interschool Sport a success for St Simon!
