Principal's Message

On Harmony Day, we proudly celebrated the rich diversity of our school community and reaffirmed our commitment to the inclusion of all students, embracing every nationality, culture, and background. This celebration aligned deeply with our 2026 theme of Justice, reminding us that true justice begins with respect, fairness, and the assurance of equal opportunity for all.

At Killester College, we honour and acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, the First Nations custodians of this land. We recognise the enduring connection they hold to Country and the importance of listening to, learning from, and valuing their voices. Harmony Day each year calls us to act justly by creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments where everyone belongs, diversity is celebrated, and understanding and compassion guide our actions.

We do not lose sight of those suffering around the world through war and injustice, and we continue to pray for peace for all people. We also pray closer to home, for peace within our homes and within our hearts.

As we move into the Easter season, I take this opportunity to wish all members of our school community a very happy and safe Easter. May we continue to be guided by the Brigidine spirit of “strength and kindliness in the service of others.”
