School Athletics
This Monday, 16th of September, is our school athletics day. All of the students will be heading to the athletics track to rotate around 8 different activities and score points towards their house. Students are encouraged to wear their house colours. Students will need to bring comfortable shoes, a packed lunch, a hat, sunscreen and water. Parents / Carers are welcome to come along to the athletics track to cheer on the children.

Interschool athletics:
The first week back of term 4 students in grade 3-6 will be attending the inter school athletics at the athletics track
On Tuesday 8th October all of the grade 6 students will participate.
On Wednesday 9th all of the grade 5 students will participate.
On Thursday 10th all of the grade 4 students will participate.
On Friday the 11th all of the grade 3 students will participate.
If for any reason a day gets cancelled all of the following days will be pushed back one day and grade 3 will not participate.

Netball and Soccer Grandfinals
Soccer finals under 12’s
Last Saturday, the under 12’s soccer team played Nagambie red in the finals and picked up the win by 2-1.
This is the first under 12’s final trophy for St Luke’s. The game was quite stressful and intense, even for the spectators. The game started with us kicking a in the first 5 minutes, then the second goal was around the last ten minutes of the first half. Nagambie scored during the second half and had a late surge but St Luke’s were able to hold them off.
Team members from St Lukes are: Danica, Liam, Raffay, Lorenzo, Gursharn, Abhi, Hamza, Zachariah and Zach our Goalkeeper.
The team also included students from St Brendans, Wilmot Road and Lemnos
Netball Grand Final
On the 7th of September, our netball team participated in the Grand Final in St.Lukes Under 13s. We were lucky to win nearly every game, apart from one, throughout the season, allowing us to sit the top of the ladder at the end of the season. We played Bouchier St in the grand final and we won 18 to 15. Halle Duffy was awarded with best and fairest for the season for the U13 and Zoe Kirby was awarded the MVP for the grand final.
Our team consists of Louise Schroeders, Halle Duffy, Addi Zak, Maddi and Zara Adams, Jemma Daunt, Zoe Kirby and Jiya Gill. We also qualified Ella Niglia to play in our Finals.
