Netball has always been my chosen sport, and I have made so many close friends from this wonderful sport.
I began with St Mels Primary School, then followed up by playing with Notre Dame College. Success came when I joined my first Football / Netball Club the Shepparton Bears.
I started playing in the A grade side but then moved to B grade and that was when I became involved with premierships. I played in two consecutive grand finals and the B-grade side won a total of 3 in a row. This is the grade that I also had personal success with.
Netball has provided me with fantastic times, wonderful memories, and a bond between teammates that we will always share.

I spent many years travelling around NSW playing at netball carnivals on the weekends. I represented my home town (Young) in U12's, 13's and 14's
I played in defence GK and GD because of my height (not sure that would be the position she may play now???).
I enjoyed playing Netball for my school and was awarded the "Belinda Brunton" Perpetual Trophy in Year 5. I enjoyed reliving my childhood memories by watching the St. Luke's netball team win their grand final last weekend. Well done girls!
I am attending the Australian Primary Principal's Association conference next week. Jen McKillop will be Acting Principal while I am away.
As the Paralympics concluded I saw this post on social media. The Olympics and Paralympics do highlight the power of supporting each other.
We return on Monday 7th October in the Summer Uniform. Hats are compulsory.
If the weather is cool children may their wear winter uniform. The final day for the year is Wednesday 18th December.
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. Safe travels if heading away next week for our Term 3 holidays.
