Reflections on Faith

The recent celebration of Catholic Schools Week brought our entire community together in a beautiful reflection of faith, learning, and connection. We began this special week on Monday by gathering as one family for a whole school mass. It was a powerful moment of unity, setting a reverent and joyful tone for the days ahead as students, teachers, and families joined in prayer and gratitude for the gift of Catholic education.

The spiritual journey continued for our Stage 3 students, who travelled to Armidale to represent our school at the Deanery Mass. Gathering with peers from across the region, our senior students experienced the broader vitality of our diocesan church. Meanwhile, on Friday, our Stage 2 students beautifully anchored our local connections by attending our regular parish mass, demonstrating the deep and ongoing relationship we share with our immediate faith community.

One of the absolute highlights of the week occurred on Thursday, when we were privileged to host the Blessed Carlo Acutis display. The exhibition was an incredible experience for everyone who visited. Learning about the life of this modern, tech-savvy young saint-in-the-making truly resonated with our students, offering an inspiring example of how faith can be lived out vibrantly in the twenty-first century.
