Luke’s International Rugby Tour
Luke Anderson (Year 12) has recently returned from an international rugby tour of Spain and France, as part of the Australian Raptor Rugby Academy. The Academy runs parallel to, and is supported by, the NSW Rugby Union Waratahs program, together with interstate rugby union governing bodies.
Luke was the only representative from Wagga to be selected for the tour. He plays centre or wing and is also adept at Rugby League. Luke enjoyed the experience of visiting Spain and France especially Toulouse.
This year he hopes to play 1st grade for Wagga City Rugby Club and Wagga Brothers Rugby League and has set his sights on a jersey with the ACT Brumbies in the future.
We congratulate Luke on this outstanding achievement and wish him well for his future endeavours.
