Primary News

A big welcome to our new families and a warm welcome back to our returning families. We have had a great start to the week, and it was a joy to watch everyone arriving on Monday, excited to see friends and make new ones.

These are big days for our little people, so restful afternoons are so helpful in making sure they’re ready for the next day. If your child is finding the start of school challenging or experiencing big emotions, please let their class teacher know so we can support them together.

As you know, we are now documenting learning through Compass (no longer Seesaw). Please ensure push notifications are enabled so you can receive these special posts via the app rather than email.

Class posts and photos are to be shared within the Compass class group only—please don’t share class photos that include other children outside of the Compass class page.

Individual photos and observations about your child will be shared with you as a private post between you and your child’s teacher. Please get in touch if you have any questions.

We are excited to invite you to arelaxed Meet the Teacher afternoon on Thursday from 3:30–4:30pm. Families are welcome to come to the Primary School a to meet their child’s teacher, see the classroom, and connect with other parents. While rooms won’t yet be filled with finished work, it’s a great chance to say hello. Please note this afternoon is for quick conversations only, for longer meetings, please email your child’s teacher to arrange a time.

Next Monday is the Year 2–6 Swimming Carnival at Junee Pool. We love having parents come along to cheer and support students. We ask that parents sit on the slide side of the pool, where you’ll have a great view of all the action.

We give thanks for a wonderful start to the year and look forward to all that lies ahead in 2026.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.

Psalm 107:1

Warmly,

Mrs AlesAlcorn
