Principals Message

As a school community, Narrandera High School is currently in the process of developing a new School Excellence Plan. This strategic document will guide our priorities and initiatives over the next four years, shaping the direction of our school to ensure continued growth and success for every member of our community.

The Narrandera High School vision statement is

At Narrandera High School our vision is to develop strong learning partnerships where staff, students and families work together to empower each student to be the best they can be. All members of our school community will be challenged to continue to learn and improve every year in a respectful, inclusive and high expectation environment where every student is known, valued and cared for.

The development of this plan is a collaborative effort, involving input from students, staff, parents, and our broader school community. Together, we are focused on three key strategic directions that will form the foundation of our work:

1. Student Growth and Attainment: We are committed to raising the academic achievement of all students by providing quality teaching, targeted learning support, and opportunities that challenge and inspire. Our goal is to ensure that every student reaches their full potential and graduates ready for the next stage of their journey.

    

2. Staff Professional Learning: Our teachers and staff are our greatest asset. To equip them with the latest skills and knowledge, we will continue to invest in professional learning and development. This commitment ensures that our educators remain inspired, effective, and supported in delivering high-quality learning experiences.

    

3. Student Engagement and Wellbeing: We recognise that student success is not just about academics. Promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive school culture is central to fostering engagement and wellbeing. We aim to provide programs and initiatives that nurture resilience, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging for all students.

    

As the new School Excellence Plan (SEP) takes shape, I am excited to lead the next phase for the Narrandera High School community which will ensure that all students achieve to their full potential, staff are equipped to meet the educational and social needs of all students and that students are valued and supported though their educational journey.
