District Cricket

On Wednesday the 3rd of September some of the Year 6 girls went down to Dixon field for District Cricket. We lost our first game 17-48 to Holy Cross. We then played Riddells Creek and lost 79 to 80. Next we played Braemar and won 97 to 73. After that we played for 3rd place and lost to Gisborne 73-53 coming 4th overall. We all did a great job and had lots of fun.

On Wednesday 3rd of September, the Year 5/6 boys went down to Dixon Field to play District cricket. Everyone did very well and had a great time. We would like to give a big thank you to Mr O for organizing the event and Damien Leatch for coaching the boys. In the end, we came fifth overall.
