October is shaping up to be a very busy and exciting month at Gray St Primary! With camps, excursions, sporting events, school photos and parent/teacher interviews, there is plenty happening across the school. Here’s a quick look at what’s coming up.
🍧 Zooper Dooper Friyay! 🎉
We’re bringing Zooper Dooper Friyay back for all of Term 4! 🥳
Every Friday, our Year 6 Team will be selling delicious Zooper Doopers from the canteen for just $1 each.

It’s the perfect way to cool down and finish the week with a little icy treat! 🍧☀️

It’s a big week for our students, with camps and excursions happening across Years 1–6.

School Photos will be held on Wednesday 21 October, 9am sharp.
Families can order student photos and family/sibling photos directly through the school photography website using the order key provided with the photo information.

provided and you will be taken directly to the website
to place your order.
Student & Family/Sibling Orders
The same order key can be used for all student and family/sibling orders.
There is no specific cut-off time for student photo orders while the order key remains valid. However, there is an important deadline for family/sibling photos:
⏰ Family/Sibling Photo Orders Close at 4.30pm on Monday 19 October 2026. This is 2 days before School Photo Day.
Once this deadline has passed, parents/carers will no longer be able to order a family/sibling photo online.
Families who miss the family/sibling photo deadline may still have a family photo taken if time permits and at the discretion of the school. Please note that this does not guarantee that a family photo will be taken.
📦 Missed the Ordering Deadline?
Any late orders will not be available until the photos have been returned to the school and the Second Chance Bookmarks have been distributed.
Late orders will be at an increased price and will also be subject to a postage fee.
We encourage families wanting a family or sibling photo to make sure their order is placed before 4.30pm on Monday 19 October.

Parent/Teacher Interviews - Our Parent/Teacher Interviews will be held on Thursday 29 October. Further information about booking interview times will be provided to families.

District Cricket Carnival - Good luck to our year 5 & 6 students participating in the District Cricket Carnival. We look forward to hearing how they go!

There is lots to look forward to in October, from learning outside the classroom and enjoying camps and excursions to representing our school in sport and connecting with families during Parent/Teacher Interviews.
