VET Cookery Students Shine in Recent Services:
Our VET Cookery students have had an incredibly busy and successful few weeks, completing three service events and continuing to build their practical skills in real-world settings.
The students first showcased their talents at the River Daze event in Barham on March 14th, where they prepared and served a range of beautifully presented grazing boxes.
This was followed by an impressive three-course meal prepared and served to School Council members on March 16th, demonstrating both their cooking ability and professionalism in service.
Most recently, students catered and served a delightful morning tea for residents at Northaven, further developing their confidence and communication skills within the community.
So far this term, the VET Cookery students have successfully completed 5 out of the 12 required service events for their course. Throughout these experiences, they have worked collaboratively, supported one another, and produced a wide range of dishes to industry standards.
We are extremely proud of their dedication, teamwork, and the high-quality outcomes they continue to achieve.
