World of Maths

All students will be participating in opportunities to learn and express a variety of different skills and strategies needed for problem solving in real life situations. We are looking forward to welcoming the team from World of Maths to facilitate these workshops throughout the day. 

The two main purposes of the sessions are: 

1) Solving problems from a given situation on each activity 

2) Serves as a guided discovery lesson where the students will discover and identify many mathematical concepts and ideas in a fun environment. 

During the session, students will analyse mathematical problems through investigation, comparison and reflection. The students will work together in small teams to discuss and record possible answers. Students have worksheets to keep on task and record answers.
