Showcase of Learning - Year 3
Today, Year 3 delighted us with their creative showcase of learning as they presented their persuasive writing pieces during Chapel.
Using vivid descriptions, persuasive language and plenty of imagination, students designed their own sweet treats and created advertisements to convince their audience to give them a try. From chocolate-filled creations to fruity delights and mysterious treats, each student confidently shared their ideas and demonstrated the skills they have developed in Literacy this term.
We are incredibly proud of their confidence, creativity and developing oratory skills as they delivered their persuasive advertisements to the school community.
Excellent job, Year 3!
Year 1 Visits the Australian Museum!
On Thursday, our Year 1 students enjoyed an exciting day of discovery at the Australian Museum, where learning came to life through hands-on experiences and fascinating exhibits. Students explored incredible dinosaur fossils, amazing Australian animals, sparkling minerals and gems and learned about the rich history and cultures of Australia's First Nations Peoples.
The excursion sparked curiosity and encouraged students to ask questions, make observations and connect their classroom learning with the world around them. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore science and history in an engaging and memorable way, and our students represented the school beautifully throughout the day.
Our musical video is now ready for viewing!
We are excited to share with you the below link to watch Friday night of the Musical.
Videos from both nights will be shared with families once the final edits have been made.
