Prayer

Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday marks the last Sunday of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week. It recalls Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, just days before His crucifixion.
Imagine walking beside Mary on the road to Jerusalem. What might she have felt as she watched her son, Jesus, enter the city, and to hear the crowds crying “Hosanna,” to witness Him riding on a young donkey? There must have been great wonder and awe. Yet perhaps, deep within her, everything was quietly overshadowed by the words of prophecy, that the Son of Man would suffer, be rejected, and be put to death.
Let us pray
Lord Jesus,
as we remember Your humble and triumphant entry into Jerusalem,
fill our hearts with love that welcomes You with sincerity and trust.
Like Mary, help us to walk beside You
not only in moments of joy and praise,
but also in times of suffering and uncertainty.
Give us the grace to remain faithful,
to hold onto hope when the path is difficult,
and to follow You with quiet courage each day.
Hosanna in the highest.
Amen.
