Student Celebrations

Junior School Council
This week our Junior School Council representatives met to plan out our Term 3 events across the school. The students discussed the attributes of leaders, and what they can do to make things happen! They will collate feedback and ideas from their cohort before we meet again after the holidays to finalise our plans. Sofia Courtney has taken on the responsibility of supporting this student group, and presented them all with their own leadership planning portfolio this week!
We are looking forward to their input around book week fundraising and community charity donations.
Leadership in Action
Congratulations and well done to Zali Wouda and Scarlett Grunewald in Year 5, who organised the greatest accessory stall of all time, in preparation for the Neon Rodeo. The girls, along with the generosity and help of their parents, ran a stall selling neon and glow-in-the-dark accessories for the disco - contributing to our fundraising profit from the event. Well done you two - fantastic entrepreneurialism!
Divisional Cross Country Finals
On Wednesday 27th of May, fourteen of our students proudly represented the Westgate District at the Divisional Cross Country Finals. Despite extremely cold, wet, and muddy conditions, our students showed outstanding resilience, determination, and team spirit.
They should be incredibly proud of the way they competed and represented our school.
A big congratulations to:Henry, Max, Eden, Charlotte, Hazel, Will, Hudson, Mitchell, Anna, Aalia, Ari, Elsa, Iris, and Mackenzie.
We would also like to acknowledge Filip and Michael, who qualified for this level but were unfortunately unable to compete on the day. We are very excited to share that several of our students have progressed through to the Regional Finals on June 15th- an amazing achievement! Well done to all runners; we are very proud of you!
