DIVISION CROSS COUNTRY 

On Wednesday 17th June Will M was busy preparing himself for the Regional Cross Country which was once again held at Hastings Foreshore. 

From previous years of experience, Will knew that this race was a massive step up from division as far as competition goes, so he had to prepare himself both mentally & physically. Although he might have been a little nervous, Will was excited to have the support of his family and Baxter staff on the day.

Will ran an outstanding 3km race and finished in 7th place for his age group. This was an amazing effort and qualified him to progress to the Victorian State Championships in July, at the Yarra Valley - representing our school, our district and our region in cross country running!

What an incredible achievement, Will! We are beyond proud of you and wish you the very best of luck, next month.
