Staffing announcements

I would like to inform our school community that Miss Taylah Ould will be commencing maternity leave at the end of this term as she prepares to welcome her new baby.

On behalf of everyone at the school, I would like to thank Taylah for her dedication and commitment to her students. We wish her and her family all the very best for the safe arrival of their newborn and look forward to welcoming her back in the future.

I am pleased to announce that Miss Molly Marshall will be joining our school and taking over the classroom from the beginning of Term 3. Molly is an experienced teacher who has recently relocated to the Mornington Peninsula and is currently teaching at Ruskin Park Primary School. She is looking forward to getting to know the students and their families.

Molly will be teaching the class full-time from the start of Term 3. As a result, Mr Shute will no longer be working in 3/4O. Taylah and Molly have already been working together to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of learning for all students.

We are also pleased to share that Mrs Dahlstrom will continue as the classroom teacher in1D for the remainder of the year. Mr Shute will now be supporting this class for one day every week.

In addition, Mitch Brander has been appointed as a full-time Education Support staff member, predominantly supporting our senior students. Mitch has previously worked with us through an agency arrangement and has now joined our staff permanently. He has already made a positive contribution to our school and is a fantastic addition to our team.

Finally, it is with great sadness that we farewell Glen Vinton, our long-serving guitar tutor. Glen has been a valued part of our school community for the past 17 years, inspiring and supporting countless students as they learned to play the guitar.

We sincerely thank Glen for his dedication, passion, and contribution to our school over many years, and we wish him all the very best for the next chapter of his life.

Bounce into Baxter – Foundation Transition

On Tuesday 28 July, from 9:15am to 10:15am, we will welcome our future Foundation students for their first transition session. Following the many school tours conducted throughout the past two terms, we are excited to begin welcoming our newest students and families into the Baxter Primary School community.

Parent/Teacher Interviews

Parent/Teacher interviews will be held during Week 2 of next term. These meetings provide an important opportunity for parents and carers to discuss their child's Semester 1 report, which will be released at the end of this week.

Information regarding interview bookings will be distributed shortly.

Wishing everyone a safe and relaxing holiday break and looking forward to a productive second half of the year.

We acknowledge the Bunurong people, the Traditional
