Teeball Maroondah Division Finals
Both our Open/Boys and Girls Teeball teams had a fantastic start to the year, winning their respective District competitions during Term 1 Summer Interschool Sport. In Term 3, both teams progressed to the Maroondah Division Finals, where they represented POPS with great enthusiasm, teamwork and sportspersonship.
Open/Boys Teeball:
On Friday 24th July, the Open/Boys Teeball team competed in the Maroondah Division finals at Park Orchards PS. Unfortunately, we lost to Antonio Park by 5 runs but played magnificently. We tried our hardest to make it to Regionals but it wasn't to be. Well done to Antonio Park, they played a great game.

Girls Teeball:
Our Girls Teeball team also had a wonderful Division finals experience. While the result wasn't what we hoped for, the girls thoroughly enjoyed representing POPS and created some fantastic memories along the way.
Angela M: Teeball Division was such as fun experience. We got to play against Heathmont East PS. I had such a fun time getting muddy and playing teeball.
Grace S: I loved getting in the final with our teeball team, it was so much fun!
Lila I: This was the best year with the POPS teeball team even though we did not win it was so so much fun.
April Y: Over term 1 and term 3, I have greatly enjoyed being part of the POPS girls teeball team. This team has showed lots of friendship values and I am extremely grateful for that.
Nadia L: I had so much fun in teeball! It was so amazing and I made so many friends.
Abbie W: It was super fun and an awesome experience! Despite the loss, we all tried our best and had a super time along the way.
Maya G: I had an awesome time playing with all my friends it was an awesome experience.
Indie B: Teeball was the best part of the year! I had so much fun with my friends.
Chelsea S: I had a really fun time playing in the teeball team with all my friends, it was so much fun!
Congratulations to all our Teeball players for their commitment, teamwork and positive attitude. It was fantastic to see everyone enjoying their sport, supporting their teammates and representing P.O.P.S so proudly! A huge thank you to Mrs O'Beirne and Mrs Stevenson for assisting with coaching and scoring on the day.
