School Council Update

At its August meeting, School Council discussed planning for 2027, including enrolments given the large number of applications for prep next year and changes to curriculum and professional practice days. The 27th and 28th of January were endorsed as pupil free days. 

Council also endorsed a new lease-to-own digital device model to replace the current BYOD program and support shared access to technology across classrooms.

Work is beginning on a review of the school’s language program, while the Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee is progressing several community projects, including the sensory path and scooter-rack artwork. Council also acknowledged the fantastic success of the recent Trivia Night and thanked everyone who helped organise and support the event.

The next School Council meeting will be held on 29 October.
