FROM OUR SOCIAL JUSTICE LEADERS

The Season of Creation begins this coming Monday. It is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commitment together. 

During the Season of Creation, we join our sisters and brothers in prayer and action for our common home.

Thank you Jesus for this beautiful and bountiful world you have created for us. Thank you for the people who care for the land, the seas, the air and the creatures. May we all continue to find ways to care for our common home and be blessed with the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

HOODIES, WOOLIES & WINTER GOODIES

This term, the Social Justice team set up a donation drive called Hoodies, Woolies, and Winter goodies. 

This donation drive is set up for people that are less fortunate in the streets of Australia, struggling to stay warm in the cold winter months. People from our community have donated over 250 warm clothes and blankets to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society,  a remarkable achievement, and we are really grateful for it.  

For our project we made no-sew blankets that have very precise cuts and ties. First we needed to get two blankets, one was fluffy and the other smooth then we cut one square in the corner then we would cut 8 centimetres into the blankets then we would tie them into a double knot. We did around the whole blanket. 

2026 SACRAMENTS

Sacrament Celebrations at Our Lady’s Primary School for 2026 have now concluded. 2017 dates will be posted late 2026 for families preparing for their next Sacrament Celebrations.
