Club of the Year!!

🏆 Club of the Year & Volunteer of the Year!
What an incredible night for Ringwood Swimming Club at the Swimming Victoria 2025/26 Awards on Friday 14 August, with RSC receiving two very special honours.
🏆 Swimming Victoria Co-Club of the Year
We are incredibly proud to have been named Swimming Victoria Co-Club of the Year, alongside Ballarat GCO Swimming Club.
Â
The Club of the Year Award recognises clubs demonstrating strong governance, financial stability, growth, inclusion and positive direction. It is wonderful recognition of the journey RSC has been on over the past 12 months as our club has regrouped, grown and evolved.
There has been a strong focus on building a sustainable and well-governed club, strengthening our competitive swimming program, supporting our coaching team and creating an environment where our swimmers can develop, perform and be proud to represent RSC.
Â
A huge thank you to our President, Joel, who stepped into the role during a time of uncertainty and has shown an unwavering commitment to making RSC the best club it can be, and to our Committee – Dale, Penny, Joel, Miek, Alyssa, Lu, Anne and Kay – for the countless hours they contribute behind the scenes and their commitment to making decisions in the best interests of the club.
Â
We also recognise our Head Coach, Carlos, for his leadership, vision and commitment to RSC. Carlos has played an important role in shaping the direction of our swimming program, raising expectations and building an exciting vision for our future.
Â
Most importantly, this award belongs to our entire RSC community – our swimmers, coaches, committee, volunteers, families, sponsors and supporters. Every person who contributes to the club has played a part in this achievement.
Â
Â
🏆 Swimming Victoria Volunteer of the Year
The celebrations continued with our Club Secretary, Jackie Kapoor, being named the Swimming Victoria Volunteer of the Year.
Â
Jackie has been a driving force behind many areas of RSC and dedicates countless volunteer hours to supporting the day-to-day running, development and future direction of the club.
Â
The award is also a wonderful opportunity to recognise the importance of all of our RSC volunteers. Swimming clubs simply cannot operate without people willing to give their time – whether that is serving on the committee, team managing, timekeeping, helping at meets, fundraising, organising events or simply putting their hand up when help is needed.
Â
Thank you to every RSC volunteer who helps provide our swimmers and coaches with the opportunities, facilities and support they need to thrive.

Congratulations RSC – two very special awards and an achievement our whole club can celebrate! 💜🏆
